wad is the diff btween all the les pauls?

hi guys, wanting to gt a lp custom but it seems very expensive.i heard that the les paul custom and standard are of nt much diff oni the gold hardware and the wood.

Can any1 tell me the diff between the epiphone lp custom,standard, standard plain-top and standard plus-top?

if you're talking in terms of epiphone , the custom doesnt sound very different from the standard , if your talking about a Gibson , the difference in everything is worlds apart from the fretwork to the finish to the value

the Epiphone range of LPs sport less marked differences than the Gibson line up. when it comes to Epi, get the one you like playing/ hearing, ignore the custom/ std/ classic/ etc tag.
