yeah RMC will end all wah battles... but then... are the players ready for RMC yet? Its not cheap to start with too.

but yeah.... RMC IS the last word on wah.

yup bro edder bro, like someone said before, tone is a journey, not a destination, if you are a GAS person, eventually after a while using cheap gear(not all cheap gears are bad btw), you will ultimately switch to the higher end ones just becos u can, so why waste money at the beginning?Especially in acquisitions like these where there are lots of people who can share their own personal journey experience?

I would like to now dedicate the song "Faithfully" to Edder & co.

The 847 is actually a fine sounding wah.

Do everything you can to play well with it... and more. Good advice from Ed.

However, if you wish to expand on it. There's plenty of things to do... search SOFT for a listing.

I had 2 v847s before. 1 stock. 1 modded with True Bypass and a Fulltone pot.
Of course, the true bypass was like... obvious. Don't need to elaborate on that. Its not like the diff between a TB-ed DS-1 and stock bypass DS-1.

Both had the same tones - same circuit board with same stuff...

But!!! The Feel dammit. The fulltone pot (or substitute with whatever you have in mind) and the stock vox pot was quite a big diff in feel. The fulltone's sweep just felt way more natural to me. Very cool difference.

Experiement lah. At the end, all this hearing and saying... go listen and tweak yourself.

Awesome wah. I like the sound of strats thru this baby. I'd use a crybaby for a humbucker equipped guitar like the Les Paul though. Just personal taste. Not stating any universal fact.

changing the stock switch to TB one. same can be said for the clyde wah, change it to a foxrox retrofit.
