Hi all,

My dumba$$ dog took my laney amp as a chew toy. luckily the only damage he made was chewing off the vinyl skin of the amp which i believe is fixable. anyone knows where i can get those kind of regular black vinyl skins that are on amps?

cheers & thx

:D

is it a laney head>>>or just a small practice amp.I mean i understand your situation but its just cosmetics, and if im right its really though to do vinlyl recover cause you have to do the whole amp which is somewhat senslesss and really hard

Ahhh yes SPOTLIGHT....
why didnt i think of that...
Hey thx feNdeRbeN.

I'm gonna try to re-skin the whole amp. Since they have different colors, i might try a custom job at it.

Cheers

well....my dog won't dare to go near my amp...1 way to do it...when she/he decides to mark the amp as their territory,on the amp and wait...i turned on my tsl100 at volume 5 and waited for her to go near the 4x12cab..then with a single strum...she knew that would never be her territory but only mine...:twisted:

but i am just training my dog to be a rock-star.....

WICKED!!!!!hahahaha

and for the dude whos refurbishing the laney practice amp,Id wish you a whole lotta luck.

one thing youll need is a hair dryer, allows it to be more plyable around corners and edges which leads to less wrinkles and get some quality contact glue.Im still trying to figure out how your gonna scrape all the old vinyl off cause thats hard in itself. So about redoing it,remember stretch it really well as in when your glueing the vinyl.

good luck with that

Usually they do to mark their territory ...sniff it !!?

Yeah, they do that but he wont dare do that to my stuff. *I have my ways*

He was a mean destructive little puppy back then and he's all grown up now so no more chewing frenzy to deal with.

hehehe
