Hey guys, we're a new band called Vicious Shit, we're made up of old people who just wanna play fast and have fun. We're made up off ex members/members of these bands: Snixtyx, Dead End, One Inch Punch, Stand Strong, Dr M's Contradiction, Colossal Trigma, Visitor and West Grand Boulevard. We're looking for a kind soul to put us in their gig lineup.

We sound like Rancid and Bad Religion had a four-gee with Rex Banner, Trash Talk, Choking Victim, Mad Sin and Propahgandi, then they all had a child, and the child had a threesome with Ruiner and Hi-Standard. And they all conceived a child, and that child is called Vicious Shit.

1st part... with no samples, I guess we have to take your word for it.

2nd part... so those of us who have myspace are not about the music and are web whoring? Damn, aren't we slutty...

3rd part... we will want your releases when we feel justified about parting our cash for your release. So it's up to you for this part really. Maybe you should consider putting up your music on myspace to help you with that... *jeng jeng jeng!*

4th part... try that again when you're performing live in a gig or something.

well thoa, you must be real upset to post that up. Cause guess you are one of those myspace bands huh. Well appreciate your opinions with regards to myspace and it's ok. you seem to fit the myspace criteria. You know, with your reason and nuendo or protools in hand to fabricate a band in the comforts of your home. Look, honestly, i couldn't give a shit about your opinions because 1, i'm not you, 2, i'm just trying to find a show with people who would appreciate looking for a band the old fashion way by auditioning a band live instead of over the internet where the bands all sound sooo good, but when it come down to it, it seems like they all got together a week before just for 30 minutes of glory. Now, if you appreciate the hard working bands out there trying to do things their way, best you respect that.

I appreciate the bands who work hard and do stuff their own way. Definitely, I do. But that doesn't mean that those of us who utilises myspace work any less hard at what we do. That's how WE do our stuff. Best that YOU respect that.

Web-whoring? Even the big international acts are utilising the net as a form of promo, so I guess basically that makes about a good bulk of musicians from around the world. I can understand if your principles do not allow the idea of using the internet to have some form of web presence because its in support of the corporate globalisation of the world yada yada...

... but that can't be right cos you are now in an open internet forum promoting your band.

Also, unless I miss the whole point of this section, I think Open Mic it's about putting your songs up here for us to listen and give opinions. So, you're in the wrong section.

Oh, btw, I can take a joke well enough, thank you very much. I did laugh when I see your band's name. :lol:
