US Presidential Elections

That was a great concession speech, congrats Obama. Hope the next 4 years will be good ones.

a great history in America today....

He is an inspirational public speaker in the style of Churchill or Luther King. That is very rare these days.

He speaks of the need to for change and of hope instead of indulging in the politics of fear. That is also very rare these days.

yes, he is an extremely eloquent and inspirational speaker, and his message for change and unity strikes a chord with all of us, Americans or not. (watch the 'A More Perfect Union' or South Carolina victory speeches on youtube) The fact that the voter turnout is at an all-time high since 1960 should mean something. That, and we know how unpopular Republicans are with the younger internet male population. Also, his tax cuts sound good for the majority of the population.

Don't just buy blindly into the hype though, read for yourself:

I like obama cause he looks like my childhood hero, The Rock.

r u srs.

i asked because it seemed like a lot of people (non-americans and americans included) are buying into the hype. how many of you really know what both candidates stand for?

its obama for me because firstly, he advocates change which is exactly what america needs right now. secondly, his economic policies are sound, not to mention he has good advisors. warren buffet along with a slew of economists supported his economic policies.

and besides, look at mccain and palin. god.

actually I don't really mind if McCain wins, I just hated Palin from the moment she opened her mouth.

(women!)
