URGENT!! Burny Guitars

erm I dont know if im wrong or not . . . List price on offical guitar sites are usually higher than the selling price. Ishibashi listed ones are previous year model. This year I think they move the guitar model by 5 or 10.

After converting, its SGD498 (from yahoo finance), of course delivery fees kills. Not too sure how much it is, but I once receive a guitar from cananda via expresspost international. The damage i took was 175 canadian dollars. Any just FYI, I pay from western union, the exchange might differs from different banks and so on, so be prepared. It was a 7 business days delivery.

what to do.... i went there at 9am for like 2 minutes, saw the bloody que... gave up... went back 4+ left nothing.... besides, if i rememrber, they didnt have the 'exact" one i was looking for anyawys...

Which SGs are you talking about???might reconsider taking the 980...

i think what shreddedsweeper meant is the batch in Ishibashi is old batch of Burny. Coz it's RSG-45. new ones are RSG-50 as stated in their official website.
 
ohh, i was thinking he ment like In Yamaha or soemthing cause i dont seem to see an Burnys else where...
 
the last time I asked Yamaha, they told me they don't keep Burny Gibson copies in stock any more. need to order and the waiting time is about 3-6 months.

i think im not going ahead in buying the guitar cause its a freaking waste of money and...there is somehting else besides this re-issue, which i Hate so much, cause of the half pickguard...

PLUS its an Exact copy, not some re-issue or some "half-copy"
 
A bit wasted if you don't use your gibson. I'll understand if you're a collector, but if you're a player, you wouldn't really mind a few dings since resale value would be the last thing on your mind, but its your choice anyways. :D

Btw, since you do have a Gibson SG and you want a 'good' LP tone, I don't think settling for anything less than a MIJ like tokai or others will satisfy you. For that matter, if you're hardcore Gibson, only the real thing would suffice.
 
yea well, Its partly because someone gave that guitar to me... and.. you get the idea... so i cant afford to let anything happen to it..

yea i think so too... i have a friend whos going down to japan sometime this year, perhaps i'll get him to take a look for me ?? o well

im only 7tin, ya, thast why i wanna advoid Getting it damaged or whatever at all cost, i prolly wont be Buying ANother Gibson, its soemthing that im lucky to have and i'm glad to have it : )
