I have both the badges!!! But the 'I love TKS because i gangster' badge is really cool man. Remember to get it from them the next time they perform! Why do i sound lyk a promoter for their badges?!?

Profits generated

Generated revenue :
22 bands*$12 per ticket*20 tickets per band = $5280 ( Idealistic figure )

Usually all the bands will not sell finish the tickets and nick will be SO KIND to let them off so let's - 50% ( 5280 / 2 = $2640)

Cost:
$50 for photographer
$50 for E-poster
$500 for sound system
$100 for manpower fees
$30 for tickets printing
$1000 for art house or playden rental ( Take $1000 as reference from my knowledge renting the place is really cheap less than $800. This includes lighting and sound engineer)


I am already pushing the limit. i think i made clear how much he can make per event. If the bands are not convince i can even list out everything clearer. BTW, i am an organizer too i just dont like the way nick runs it so i am voicing out.

For bands that are talented you can maybe play for Whatlah, its free!

Why doesnt this money making *censors* realise that he has to do some marketing. A poster or somethign along that line..

Jaarvis from light sounds inc did the most amazing job and that was his first gig...
Guyrence does awesome gigs. Their tickets hardly go beyond $10...
at least the bands are a mix of known and unknown bands.

Local scene people. Boycott organisations of such tangent. Shyam and me would be more than glad to organise a DIY gig. Personally, i wouldnt mind digging from my own pockets to do it.

How can you be a platform for a local bands when you yourself dont set a standard for the local scene? Folks out there. I honestly tell you, that he knows nothing about music. This is not a childish remark or a personal attack. Would you let someone who doesnt know about music suck your blood. Its the same thing as saying would you leave your child with someone you dont know.

Cut this. Bands you choose. You sign. Change we can believe in. OBAMA!!!!!!

Haha! I agree with you bro.. guess i didnt read your post before posting my previous post! :) dont bother. As long as there are believers there will be cheaters. Great minds think alike (People who care for the scene) and fools seldom differ (People who "care" for the scene)
 
Nic... we are not trying to say that you are the wrongest guy in the world..

We are just trying to tell you that your prices are too expensive and the way you work is bad.. doesnt mean you are bad forever? Our main point here is all about improving... You improve by learning from mistakes, feedbacks and comments. But your attitude here shows that you dont want to amend.

We are not saying that you cannot continue to work on this.. We are saying that (in a good way)... reduce the price, improve the system, go easy on bands.. Why you just dont get it? We dont want to make it feel like the whole world is opposing you.. You got a communication problem? You still can ignore this? OMG

If you still think you are right, you are totally not sensible man... If only less than 10 people flames you about your thread, you are ok to continue with the way u work (cos those 10 people might be idiots).. but if a 100+ people come flames you with your thread... i think there is something wrong you know? Its a clear obvious problem already...

Ask yourself... how many bands performed a streak with you? like 3-5 times in a row for ultrasound? I bet all play 1-2 times will never come back... What do you treat us as? Your money making tool?

Guys and Bands... before you sign ANY documents that are black and white.. READ WHAT IT SAYS.. dont get con... (his black and white indirectly wrote that "I OWE YOU $240 IF I SIGN THIS")

Nic.. change for the better... it isnt too late until things start getting even worser than the current state.. if you dont improve, you will lose more 'customers'.. Its up to you Nic..

Goodness, don't appear trying to rectify the problem. cause honestly its so obvious you have nothing to say.

Bands, you need not even be bothered with the contract cause :

1.ROCKON isnt registered (If its registered under ROCKON in acra.com tat is) so he cant go to small court claim
2.18 and below who signs it will be void
3.He can go and claim from the court and get sue because he is operating without a business license and profiting more than $1.8 k(estimate) per event for more than 10 events, i would be curious to see what the government will do to see your accounts.

You are increasing your event to be value added to the bands by giving them guest list but honestly you dont give a shit you noe why? because you dont even hire anyone to make sure they dont crash by using the top entrance, this states:

1.You already noe you are getting sales from the bands and dont care if anyone crash because contract is signed and money is "supposedly" in before the event.
2.Its not like club where you pay per pax, its a flat rate so you can give 10000 free entry as long as the bands clear all their tickets cause your profit margin is already achieved.

I really would like to see how you change and amend your business model because people can ask bands to sell tickets at $6 dollars for 20 tickets. The difference in margin from your event and theirs at the SAME venue is 20*6*22= $2640. Please explain this, since you are showcasing talents why do you profit so much maybe you can start getting a full time job since you are so profit driven, many companies will love to hire you.

Please i would love to hear your thoughts!
