Hello Softies ~

This problem may seems weird, I have a Strat copy. The bridge is just some normal fixed bridge with trem.

I was just taking out my trem so that i could clean the area of the guitar, when i tried turning back in the trem, its very hard. I turn a few turn and it became harder..when I turn the trem out, this is what happen to the tip of the trem :

any solution to offer ? :)

I'm sorry but the picture is too blur to figure out whats wrong.

More pictures please, especially close ups.

Seems like somehow the thread doesn't mesh in well. If the thread on the trem block is still intact, buying a trem arm could be a solution. Anyway, nice trans blue body you have there.

he prolly overtightened it and "screwed" into the trem block.. like screwed too far in..

he p[robably broke the whole arm, or at least it looks like he did it

argh. that happened to my previous trem arm. screwed it in too tightly till it snapped.

had to change the whole bridge after that... T.T

Wah, LOL..

Anyway, sorry, i post wrong picture ! LOL. Thanks for correcting my pic !

Hmm, I didn't really overscrew it, it was kind of like halfway through and it got harder and harder...lol

But anyway, where do i get a new trem arm ? I wonder if it will fit into my bridge, other than buying a new bridge LOL

I hope the arm also doesn't cost much XD

these oriental made parts are pretty easy to get. bring your guitar down to Davis Music to test fit b4 buying ... who has quite a few types from org fender to the cheper copy model like yours - should be no more than say $10 ....
