Trade excuses

@ Threadstarter. Are you Singaporean?

If not, leave this place. The grass is not green on this side. I'll join you soon.
(Mean it in a positive way)

hehe i am singaporean bro whatever that means, but i travel most of the time, thailand, pakistan, nepal, cambodia, krygstan, kazahstan, tibet, china, laos, indonesia, india. so i am all over the place most of the time but now usually in singapore, i think 90% of the people thinks that the grass is never green in their own country, until they travel out.

absolutely agree! but Tawandang in Bangkok rocks harder than all the brew pubs in SG!

somehow some people receive more f up attitude than others. generally speaking the only thing you can do on your part to avoid this is to be courteous, treat others with respect and not take anyone for granted. then generally, people will reciprocate

once in a while you will realise that not everyone is screwed up, which makes the fact that there are assholes lurking out there in abundance easier to swallow.

I usually....

(i) have the final say on place and time to deal, usually my place
(ii) ignore lowballers totally
(iii) do not reserve
(iv) talk to the person before meeting, no SMSes
(v) roughly test his sincererity and reaffirm agreed price
