Hasn't anyone tried them? They have been there since God knows when.. I wonder how come no one bought them, the kelly , explorer and dxmg one looks pretty cool

hahah i'v tried the few they had last yr..nice price tags. bt i have a jackson anyway..so it doesnt hurt much if i cant get any1 of em. one thing is the solid heavy sound..

i dunno, but the one i tried at this place tt takes in stock frm swee lee, the jackson's i've tried were made in india! lolz...but the guitar was sweet to play...then again, its not where its made, its how it feels to u...some ppl might find a mic guitar to be like heaven to them...so yeah...

yeah man...i looked at the back of the headstock...instead of those MIK or MIJ or wadeva i'd normally see on a ibanez or wadeva....it said...Made In India...i was pretty shocked myself...and the thing is, this guitar came straight frm swee lee...lolz...

made in India- should there be a cause for undue alarm? there shouldn't be. Jackson's lower offering are indeed made in India, it has been the case since City Music was the initial Jackson dealer. if' it's a well made guitar, it's simply well made, regardless of its origin.

back then, Marshall also had a sister brand, 'Park', which was also made in India...

I own a Jackson Kelly KE-3 which i bought in new condition from someone that got in the Swee Lee sale last December. Its a very good guitar, the few problems i have with it are

-It is too neck heavy, when you are standing up and not holding it, the guitar will lean towards the ground headfirst. Seems to be a common problem with some explorer shape guitars
-The upper fret access is a bit limited, quite hard to reach above the 20th fret
-Stock pickups are a little muddy, but i'm considering upgrading them to something else soon

Other than that its a great metal guitar, got it at a great discount of $500 as well, list price was $1350

hahah for the average joe India is probably still trying to make ends meet. Well..for a nation tht has a 4000 to 5000-yr major history & a big part in civilisation (think Aryans), intellects, maths, science, literature etc..its no longer the case for most of her ppl. Now being one of the top leading IT industries (many dealers in Sim Lim r indians), its no surprise they make guitars (considering they make hi-tech gadgets)

the wizard necks..r almost all the same regardless of brand. n nowadays the high-end jacksons all come w/ these necks. bt i do find the frets kinda bigger..i have yet to see any w/ the ibanez line of floyd-roses (the best), bt the stock fr should suffice.

Oops, the guitar I was eyeing is not the kelly, my bad  . Its the very odd shape one. I think its called the WRMG or something.

Is the neck like the ones on the ibanez?

having tried the dinky and the kelly at swee lee, i definitely feel it's thicker, even thicker than a wizard II. width wise it might be comparable with the wizard necks. and seems to me that the radius is flatter. i didn't really like the chunkyness having been playing wizard necks mostly
