so there's a Strat appreciation thread; this one's for the tele posse. the Telecaster is easily the overlooked Fender, often eclipsed by the Strat's popularity but we need to remind ourselves it's the Tele which got the solid-body Fender interest going...

I love teles, the looks the twang the feel. I do not own one but it would definitely be my first consideration for a single coil equipped guitar. Nice teles on this thread, some are quite drool worthy..

But now have settled for the CIJ '72 custom tele:
(photographed before replacing with a authentic '73 seth lover wide range humbucker)
