just a friendly information, showing tat u are a dangerman in early early of the round, will give a friendly message to the opposition team,manager will instruct his own player to mark dangerman with their life.....so those team winning in slim margin, you are in good hand.....team happy happy scoring, gd luck....if u think i don make sense, watch and see.....

i hope Italy and Greece go out of the group stages tho i feel a bit sorry for Italy esp coach Donadoni. did you see his so-typical Italian face and gestures twds the end of the game? freekin hilarious....mamma mia i dunt understand wat is happening..........

That helps also, but with the hype that surrounds before the games that will prove to be crucial. Like how torres was more marked, he could go to the side, skip pass a few players and let Villa score. Now people will try harder to mark Villa, allowing the other players more space.

Villa - Torres combo is good but is yet to be proven against world class defenders. Hopefully we can see that in the later stages of this tournament.
Though I don't particularly fancy the team but the best striking partners I've ever seen IMO is definately Romario - Bebeto during the 94 World Cup. Watchin those two play in the field is like as though they are playing in a basketball court. :mrgreen:
England's Shearer - Sheringham (SAS) combo is also another deadly one but its a shame it lasted for a short period of time.
Locally who can forget the Fandi - Abbas deadly duo... Brilliant..

the modern game now usually adopts a lone striker tactic supported by roaming attacking midfielders.so far in the championship, only Spain do a two men team upfront.
torres-villa,it's actually the classic combo of big man and small man..torres the big man and villa the small man..however,unlike the classic big man-small combo,these Spanish snipers are blessed with pace and skills
Spain vs Russia,Holland vs Italy are the 2 outstanding games played so far..the best combo so far IMO is a KFC combo meal..with that 94' Romario and bebeto a close 2nd

Fuzz is there anything u don think other then food, hahahah, jk jk.....remember,spain have tendency of being complacency, history prove it, yes torres and villa combo is good, but remember this, one of them injured or both them injured, it be a prob, for me soccer is all abt the whole 11 man work their socks up....i yet to see any country doing tat, but German come close as play as a team....and yuh, brazil is famous of their unity, their samba style play, but as time goes by, it seems even brazil are now more individual player ard.....

sorry for the ignorance, but i'm not living in Singapore at the moment. i heard that you have to subscribe to a special Euro 2008 channel on Starhub to be able to watch the matches, even though you've already subscribed to a football channel?
sounds a bit ridiculous isn't it? of course here it's probly different, but it's on the national free-to-air broadcast.
p.s. NL match against Italy was amazing. the people here went crazy. really, really crazy

Ridiculous as it can be, another thing tat really really piss me,we pay the 1 time subscription and the best thing, tat not all of us watch every game, coz next day got work, got sch,got the life(Korn's song), got milk!!!......here there increase,here there pay......wat to do...and in a year time, must pay another $$$ to watch UEFA Champ League....
