The Epiphone LPs sold here....

those mij epi in orangeguitar are sold. i checked with wai kay.. darn. wanted to get one of those. how about epi elitist? hard to find one though
i guess each guitar sounds differently even though they are the same model made in the same place. have to test test. but for me im quite paranoid so i stick to MIJ and MIA.

wonder when there will be a MISG

kill him? i dun even need to kill him.. at the rate he is boozing and on drugs, he will eventually kill himself

but he is an inspiration to me, so yups i can't kill him.

i think the guitar is as good as the quality control the guitar company demands from these contract manufacturers.

remember this fact, Samick is not only a brand but its a contract manufacturer for many brands out there.

the brands I'm impressed with are Ibanez and Squier. Never been to impressed with Epis. Gotta ask sub here.

but most MIK epiphones i see are not made by samick.
usually made by Saein (serial starting with I), and Unsung (serial with U).

anyway, the MIC LPs i heard are decent, the MIC SGs tho are more accurate design wise than the MIK.

Hi all,

I will have a new batch of MIJ Epis available sometime next week. I won't comment on the quality - you be the judge. :) drop me a mail sales(at)orangeguitar.com for an appointment to try it out.

If any of you are interested in Gibsons... they are making their way very soon. Look out for updates.

cheers!

boss, any info on what Gibsons these will be? currently, there is an absence of the non-standard offerings, this being an example:

IMO, there is a need to address the demand for them...

Gibson Les Paul Studio II EMG Electric Guitar
Gothic Black.....you got it Musician Friend right....so what offering you want ?? :D

what i'm trying to say is that, dealers here are selective about what they bring over. IMO some of us can't get what we want despite knowing the availability by the manufacturer...

yoyoyo sub,

how different is the sound/tone compared to the ESP/LTD Singlecut models? Imo, I think that if they are approx the same, then there is no reason for distributors to bring in similar looking/config guitars unless the price range is really wide apart

or unless branding realli matters to the individual himself e.g. certain people got fetishes for Gibson over probably Greco, Orville or ESP hehehe.

Oh i see .... i bilieve SLee would be happy to take special orders and get it shipped on the their next mass order!!

btw that EMG feels so wrong on that guitar doode !!

i'm actually using that Goth II model as an example of what Gibson has in store for people who:

*prefer the brand name
*dislike the 'regular'offerings

there are others of course. i'm not pursuing an EMG equipped Les Paul tone per se. personally, when i see EMGs in any guitar, i wouldn't dispute the tone but the playability factors will sway my decision(s).
