Had this bass since the beggining of this year. Upgraded with Nordy pups and Lakland JO flats.
But want to offload this to make way for a Lakland JO. To good of a bass!

hey cherns, pickup spacing on the J looks very narrow. is it stock jazz spacing or narrower? looks smaller than even a 60s placement.

It's supposed to be 70's placement on the Koa jazz, and 60's on the Trans Teal jazz.
I think it looks slightly strange due to the bodyshape of the NNG being longer than a standard Jazz.




But then again, I guess I won't know till they actually get here

wow... these basses will take some time to get used to...

there are special gauge strings for the fanned-fret design, right?

It looks more difficult than it actually is. Most guys get used to the spacing really quickly.
But of course, you'll never know till you get to try one for yourself


As for strings, there are a number of long scale string sets that you can use on the Dingwall, for example the D'Addario superlong XL's. I'd personally string them up with a set of Infeld Superalloys.

i've just ordered a Wick Taranis, and now waiting for it to be shipped. all this dingwall just make me more GASsy

the design and monorail looks good! but i'd change the pickups.

From what I understand, the pickups will be upgradable Dingwall is working with Nordstrand on custom wound soapbars for the Combustion model.

Right. Those bludy roundheads are a beech to keep shiny.
