audereaudio direct? what's the shipping charges like on them?

they don't ship to singapore .. =( ... so you have to use vPOST to ship ... that means .. you have to pay for double shipping .. one in the US and the other to Singapore .. but if it's worth it, it's worth it ... =) ... i haven't bought from them yet but i emailed them regarding shipping and the fella told me that some guy from Singapore bought from them before but used a US address ...

So i presume it's vPOST ... i used vPOST before ... they keep to their delivery promise so their cool .. =)

oh, well then can you kindly let me know how much the total shipping cost when you do get it? thinking of building a warmoth within the next couple of years but slowly sourcing parts and deciding slowly now.

No, it's not vPOST. The dude from Singapore is my friend, but he shipped it to my address when I was in New York :) vPOST should work though!

now we know the culprit .. =P ... hahah .. yeah .. but vPOST should work fine lah .. just so long as the merchant is willing to take singapore credit cards ...

actually ... i won't be buying it so soon ... i'm still trying to get used to the preamp on my bass .. it's a Seymour Duncan 3-tone circuit with slap switch .. warm and nice .. =) ... i kinda like it when it blends together with the yamaha stock pickups which are like .. amazing stuff ... seriously .. never heard stock pickups sounding so good .. only yamaha can do that ...

but if i do i'll let you know lah .. i agarationed it to be around 200USD at most? ... which is around 320 - 350SGD lah ... so if you can set aside that for the Audere preamp you'll be quite safe ...

=)

oh, wah then that's quite costly. wonder if it'll be worth shelling out extra 20-30USD getting the sadowsky preamp instead. haha.

It really depends on your taste actually. I prefer the Audere preamp because of it's Z switch which allows you to shape your tone on the go. It's nice .. heard the sound samples before ...

I think for Sadowsky ... you get the quality ... but at the same time you're paying for the brand also ... so yeah ... really up to you to choose actually. I'll let you know if i do ship it in sometime lah ...

ANYWAY!!!

Here's some pictures of the new addition to my family ... okay, sadly i have to sell of my Warmoth to support this but i'm very happy with my YAMAHA BBN5A!!!

NOW ...

DROOL!!!!

I'd prefer it in Amber but green is nice ... =)

Stock Yamaha Alnico V pickups with Seymour Duncan 3-tone circuit preamp with slap switch. Restrung it just yesterday with DR Hi-beams ... amazing tone ... =) ... You never go wrong with Yamaha man ... I always thought their stock pickup tone is really good ... ... the typical Yamaha bass tone that is distinct and recognizable ...
