Own an RG. Gassing for a S series now
Love the S too...sexy curves with a thick fat tone despite having a thin body.
Overall it was a pretty versatile axe for all genres. I kinda regretted selling mine especially since mine was a "golden age" S470 before Ibanez's QC dropped drastically.

i love the S-series more than any other Ibanez offerings- if only the manufacturer has more selections in this range...

hey,juz wanna ask about my rg.
i hav an ibanez rj series guitar,but i dunnoe wat model it is.ive check the serial number in the net n its stated tat my guitar is built 1996 in Japan.its mij stated below the serial number at the back of my headstock.
..but i dunnoe wat model it is.can u guys figure it out bro!..it is black mij rg.thnx alot..:mrgreen:

you cant find the model via serial. post pics, maybe some ibanez pros can identify your guitar

My first Ibanez, its a Iceman ICT700! Just arrived today, like 2 hours ago... Its Made-In-Indonesia. Read a lot of bad reviews regarding the finishing of the guitars from Indonesia but this is great! Maybe one or 2 parts in the binding was painted with a wobbly hand but other than that its perfect!
I actually sold off my ESP Eclipse to get this. Wasn't really sure of my decision but I think I made the right choice. It plays great, sounds great (Dimarzio D-activators, neck-thru) and looks great! They included some random stuff with the guitar, like trem springs and a trem bar when this is a fixed bridge haha.

Got it at a pretty good price, but I think its worth about USD$800 (excl shipping, + USD$120) now..

Thats not the price I paid, but yea I agree.. USD$800 should be able get a high-end MIK made model, but I've no qualms with the MII quality..
