The small one plus the silver surfer belongs to my 4 yr old....hehe.

Not really, the silver surfer is the cheaper version which is Mii as well.
The expensive one MIJ has a 3 dimensional silver surfer.
I think the 7string universe cost more if i remember correctly. :rolleyes:
 
Hahaha just wondering for all fellow ibanez fans, do u guys actually prefer the MIK or MII ibanez axes in terms of like say tone, fit and finish, quality of hardware, and material used?

agree bro. this is why, those of us who bought the more acceptable units should come forth to appraise the guitar 8-)
 
Hey subby i agree, although ibbys' have their flaws but they r still lovely for what they are.....dang!!! Funny hahaha sometimes imperfection is a kinda beauty too kekeke.
 
the flaw is rampant, just issues with the non-Prestige units mainly but that's the norm when it comes to production of beginner/ mid-priced units.

cant wait to get my hands on a prestige but i guess there will always be a diff between the mij and mii ones
 
I just realised that my Iceman came with a lot of allen keys but it dosent have 1 that can adjust the truss rod. Does anyone know the size of the allen key (does it even use an allen key anyway? hehe) or what I can get it?

Mabye you can go to a hardware shop im sure they sell in one set with lots of diff sizes?
 
allen key sizes are divided into metric and imperial/US size, before buying, will have to know whats the type for the guitar.

If having no idea, try getting a set with both metric and imperial size one. It can be found in homefix.

Another thing to note is whether the truss rod is which kinda. The pics below, is of gibson kinda and need the box type allen key to adjust

if its this kinda, then just need to find the usual allen key to poke inside the hex hole and adjust
