wait, the PGM301's gonna be discontinued? anyone know what it's gonna be replaced with? also, paul gilbert was with the reverse iceman when he appeared on the cover of total guitar 2 months ago :)

Yea i know what you meant, the reverse iceman's a one off guitar specially for PG. It pays to be famous. Grumble grumble.

that washburn was an attempt to appease Paul Stanley when he parted ways with Ibanez- how successful was that...? *sigh*

Hmm, for those who are keen on Paul Gilbert's latest toys - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AB-7P7RYanE

He introduced 2 new reverse Iceman with different pickup configurations and body materials. Wonderful looking axes to own :)

sub: Yeah, I doubt it to be en Eclipse-copy... Just drawing the similarities to the ESP Eclipse counterpart.

The PGM301 over here in Korea is going for $1.6k I think; cheaper than Singapore.

it was called the fireman jokingly by him lol..
always wanted an iceman, but not sure which to choose, theres the RG headstocked one and the classic one

This is my 15 year old RG550DY! The V2 pickup on the bridge position is really awesome which you don't find it commonly now. Not forgetting the V1 on the neck position too though. (btw, these pictures are long ago. I've already changed the neck pickups to Tesla VR-III)
And also, the MAPLE FRETBOARD! This guitar is really twangy.
