The All-New Ibanez Appreciation Thread

Yeah, i knew it wasn't a decal. I guessed that it was the work of the same guy for your Jackson. Awesome! ;)

My pride and joy, an Ibanez SAS36 with HAS Sound Viper in the bridge, and 2 Hellcat single coils in the mid and neck. Tuners have been swapped out for Gotoh 514 (I think, can't really remember if that's the exact model number) Locking tuner heads. Still looking for a new bridge to swap out the SAT Pro for though, my unit is kinda messed up.

Is it? But I cant check till December. If someone is kind enough, please help me check and tell me the price. Thanks.

What can I say, I have an affinity towards little green men.

Vicko: Mine's a finished neck. Scuffs up when I get sweat all over it but I guess I'm used to it. The neck is so tiny that the effect is pretty negligible anyway.

Sweelee selling the PGM301 for $2.3k.i tried it out too.that guitar is another monster.i just went there just nw.just wait for the year end sale i think they will lower the price like crazy.anyways i think the 301 gonna be discontinued this next.so better get it b4 the prices go up.Paul Gilbert has new guitars.ahahaha

SherT> ah i see(: yeah i think that was what compelled me not to get it heh.

Also, to the guy with the RG prestige, is it just me or is your guitar surpisingly thing for an RG? :O

I like the shape of the ESP Eclipse and the sound of its active pickups, but as usual, tak cash. So when I first saw the Ibanez ART series, I was really thrilled because I did not know that Ibanez do produce Eclipse-copies until I dig further. What is more, they have their own Ibanez Lo-Z active pickups (not that I am sucker for one).

i doubt if Ibanez ever meant it to be an ESP eclipse copy.

i'm not here to render excessive praise to the brand name (despite being a fan) but more of a QC reiteration- the Ibanez Chinese craftsmanship is superb to say the least. if the Artcore models were the epitome of just that, the manufacturer now has the SZR models to showcase quality. i'm not digging the SZR in terms of looks too much (in all honesty, it looks lobsided & retarded somewhat) but i'm one who value good tone & QC regardless of the guitar outline, hence my ownership of the SZR620.
