Hmm.
When I was 14-15 I was yearning to be 16 so that I could watch NC-16 films.
But when reached 16, I found that such things so passe.
When I was 17 I dreamt of being 18 so that I could consume alcohol freely.
But when I reached 18 I found it to be so passe.
At 19 now, I find that the grass is always, always always greener on the other side.
But that does not mean I support people to use abusive language for the sake of it. When in a jolly mood I might use slightly abrasive language but the point I think is to know when and where to draw the line.
Do you know when and where to draw the line?
I hope teenagers 18 and below are starting to do so, because when they hopefully reach a state of maturity to watch even R(A) films and take the content with a pinch of salt, then I'm sure our society is progressing instead of stagnating.
Humour is humour, but when people take such things for granted that's where the powers that be start to worry and hence our local cinematic rating structure.
On a lighter note.. I enjoy Jack Black's acting and I wanna go watch it soon!
