TAPESTRY TWO006 is BACK! And this year is our 5th year into Tapestry and we are all excited about it!! =)

Just a little bit of background information for those who haven't heard about us. Tapestry is a Charity Busking aimed at providing a platform for budding artistes and raising funds and awareness for charity.

So that's like killing 2 birds with one stone =) :!: :wink:

Date: 21st- 23rd July 2006
Time: 12:00pm - 9:00pm
Venues: Streets of Orchard =D [busking style]

**21st is a launch night where we are looking into getting DJs to spin for us. Actual busking is on 22 & 23 July.

Yes the deadline has been extended to end of May for application. So interested participants please do NOT hesistate to send in your applications! =)

Also, we are looking into a greater variety of performance this year from jazz to dances to any performance that can engage audience =) Tapestry is all about weaving different genres for one purpose... and that's for Charity!

We look forward to having you guys as part of the Tapestry team this year!

As for venues!
This year we are pleased to have Far East Plaza again, but a new venue on our list is Heeren!

We are also proposing for other venues but has yet to be confirmed. The above 2 venues have been confirmed already.
