LOL! I was at heeren all the while. No time to go for the central ones. Btw, any photos / videos of the shows at vivo and central? Would love to see it.

Tapestry is great. Only if the shows would be along orchard road outdoors.

to the Tapestry event organizers, the single sound engineer at Central Square who was sitting there for the 16+ hours of the event, and the other bands that performed.

Just like to mention, the single sound engineer who was sitting there. Yup that's about it, bringing his gear down and sitting there, giving less than a shit about the sound that is coming out. To the point where my band insisted on getting a studying sound engineer we knew who happened to be there to take over as sound man during our set.

But yes, to the organisers, kudos for the effort.

Apologies for what had happened (I know, super delayed apology.. but nonetheless)... Will look into why the sound crew was that inactive.. but as for the power failure, it's really one of those things that happen now and then...

Do keep in mind tho. Tapestry is an event put together everywhere with a prettttty limited budget and this year (ok.. it's going to be 'last year' soon..) it's usually fund's short, manpower short, only thing we don't have a lack of is enthusiastic musicians/bands *grin*

Interesting point to note about this year's Tapestry is that it ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!! due to lack of gear/funds to get gear etc etc etc....

it's coming to the end of the year, and *fingers crossed* we'll have more events like these despite the economic meltdown... afterall.. recessions are built on negative emotions, how better to lighten the mood than with more music concerts.
