Swee Lee never put them up in their website. Second class treatment? But they put up epi which suppose to b cheapo ver of Gib! :?:

Anyway, i like the headstock of these SXs as they follow closely the original design

Read sub's review on sx. Not bad at all for a a starter pack. Anyway most guitars are made in china now, only the brand are diff.

I have seen the SX's from the first post here in KL. I'm currently studying in KL. I don't know if they are currently for sale here but I'm very sure they were previously. (in KL at least)

The strats are part of a limited edition from SX and if I'm not mistaken they also came with a limited edition tweed hard case.

You see, thats the point, its not bad at all.

For a starter pack.

Change to context to say a nice Prestiege Ibanez RG, this SX guitar's "not bad at all" wouldn't be there at all.

What you pay for is what you get.

Well if u compare sx to the more established brand like ibanez, of course the yard stick change. But as long as the quality is reasonable, why not. Many forumers highlighted that those cort in SL are pretty good guitars yet not many wants them. Brand concious?

Everyone would say SX are good starter guitars.
but once you play a more 'expensive' guitar so to speak you would hate the sx altogether.

The SX is just a good starter guitar. I'm sure the quality is fine. I'm sure the instrument is fine.

But how fine?

As good as a starter guitar gets.

Don't stick with the electronics and you're good to go...the pickups are dismal...pots are nothing to rave about either...other than that, it's amazing.
