choon wai, there are lots of good china made guitars, just that you are looking at the budget ones. and please stop calling names for the chinese people. it is rude and not necessary.

chinaman

halo,
why must you insist to associate me to your friend?
I am not what you think he is who he is who I am.

Dick Lee is a Mad Chinaman and what are you ?

Went down today. Didn't really like the atmosphere. I must say I felt sad for the guitars there. People taking and testing, taking and testing. By the time someone decides to buy them they're already soiled.

Yeah, went down. The washburn is 99 bucks, but the design is those which is not sellable type, and also is a paste-on front design. The paste-on on the headstock is a bit lifted at the corner, danger of peeling off in future.

Other than that it's very worth the money as a first guitar. It's practically at throw away price. The Epi seems to be a new batch, looks quite ok to get, gives davis a run for his mony.

Beginners paradise, all beginners can buy something there, cheap amps too.

Other than that, mainly to clear old and less desirable stocks. DOD pedals are definately very old stock clearance. If you like them, sure can get at 50 bucks, but I feel the tone of this brand is not really good.

Times up, the sale finish at 6pm today. Swee Lee do NOT carry Line6 amps. Bassist have a ball cause they had SWR selling really sweet price.

AMP Brands sold: Ibanez, Laney, Fender, SWR. I think all solid state models, no tubey ones.

ugh ok thanks. anyway any laney amps to recommand? i think theres one called HCM 30..i saw them at swee lee at bras basah.

Laney amps are good for their price. HCM models are targetted at low end market. Affordable stuff. Sure can get one and practise till you require more tone, then get a better one.

To all, better luck next year. Got some really good buys this year round. Kudos to Swee Lee, at least they cater to generally the whole market spectrum.

Imagine yourself having a shop with about more than 100pcs of above $1K value guitars on display and allowing all people to try it out (incl. young punk ass kids who is disrespectful to you and the goods), without question.

It's quite a cool idea, so before you criticise them, think of this point. Would you do the same?? Likely you will be acting like someone we all know so well and diss even more.

The wash and burn strat looks and feels pretty good to me man. Sounds alright too, Its totally worth 99 bucks man, you cant even find a better samick at 150

can ... :p better samick = sly samick explorer LOL

Lol, for those who didnt go to the swee lee sale, it was a big scam. The les paul guitars that were on sale were really old. My friend told me this. Lucky me i didnt waste my time trying to believe that swee lee had something good to offer. I've lost all my respect for that company.

^haha no offence dude, but i got more important things to do than look at 6 year old rusty epiphones and squier bullets. If you're such a smartass why dont you tell us all some good offers they had?
