hello there good people,
i just need to check, are there anyone out here who had bought guitars/products online from sweelee?
i mean, im asking this cuz, the prices at the showroom and the website differs drastically..
lets say u wanna buy a guitar which has a price tag of 1k at the website, but then when u go to the showroom, u realise u have to pay 300+ more..

i tried placing an order at the website, and it stated that the delivery cost is $50 flat..

so,total for me is abt 1050, instead of 1300+..
this mean i save 300+ with delivery..
it is way better..
and moreover,it stated that the payment method is cash on delivery..

is this a reliable method?
anyone tried?

shed some light..

Why not ask them about it directly? Did you see the price tag on the item itself or did you ask the sales assistant? Cause I remember my BOSS pedal cost about $150++ and when I went there, the price tag says $200++, it was only after I asked the price of the pedal before they tell me that it is $150 and that the price tag was an old price tag.

But if that's the price the sales assistant quote you then...you might want to enquire about it.

Not sure about the prices online, but the price tags on the showrooms are the 'list price', and this is before the 20% discount storewide on the non nett items. So that might be the reason as to why the price might differ. If you got any queries you can just email them, I've emailed them about some stuff recently.

Best way is to just call the them up.

I'd recommend calling them, they never reply to my e-mails so I ended up calling them. Best if you could go down in person and verify cause sometimes...

Guy A picks up phone and answer your enquiry
You head down the store and Guy B entertains you
Prices differs, you explain the situation some guy (unknown to you it was Guy A) picked up the call and quote you this price while Guy B quote you with another price

And this situation can get sticky. It happens rarely but it will still happen. Sooo...yeah, an idea. But do call them if you really need to find out.

I ordered online beginning this year a guitar online. No problems at all, it was delivered to your house door. Before they call you to make appointment.
The only thing I am not sure of is that another soft seller told me that you get better prices if you negotiate on the shop floor then by ordering online. Never tried...

no, i never like to negotiate in shops..beside, even if u negotiate, the price would still be higher than in the website..
for example, the artcores in the web sells for $513..
at the shop, it cost close to 800-900 i think..

what did u buy and how much did u pay?
did u pay according to the price stated in the web?

thanks bro..

I bought an Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul EX for around 1400$ plus 50$ for delivery or so, don't remember. But yes, it was the price as stated in the online shop

Yo, go down and check with the Sale-person, maybe what you saw at the store is the retail price, and usually the staff will give a discount off that price, :-)

Check with them or call them up

if i'm not wrong, the retail prices are not lessed by 20%
All prices online are already lessed hence the price difference.
check with the sales personnel.
they can give u a better idea of the pricing
