tama backrest chair are not cheap.. 400 plus i guess.. but good for ur pantat to sit on.. very comfy.

Nai-beh...Swee Lee just call me - tell me said my Drum Stool (with Back-Rest) needs another 3 months to come in - I've paid Deposit already (half of it) 2 months ago - now they tell me to wait till September - that's freaking 5 months to order a SEAT/STOOL......and they say - Pearl need to manufactured it - WHAT....???? I thought Hardwares are common items - these are not Pearl Custom Drums lah - dunno whether they got bluff me or not...today I go and pay full payment to them later......

but airbus compensated SIA for being 2 years late of the delivery of the A380.. they compensated millions of dollars...
and airbus, is a monopoly of companies compromising the WORLD over making it's parts.. phooo.. they should at least give u some free stuff...

I went Swee Lee today - they say I cannot cancell it..so nevermind what to do I pay them Full-Payment liao totalling S$400 and to collect in September,
I bought another Pearl Stool - the one without the Back-Rest today - a Roadster...not cheap also retailing S$371.......and I bought 2 Pearl Cymbal Stands B-1000 model....bring home put up my other 2 Paiste new Sig Ride & Crash - now my kit looks big....ok lah happy ok liao.
I saw
Pearl Reference (the red one last time retailing S$17000) now after less 40% = S$3740Nett 6pc set -the one Horacio played on it...they have reduce the List on Reference liao.
Pearl Eliminator double-Pedal got 2 set - all taken by the Dealer - I hope they will replenish stock.
Sabian Hi-hats - very nice - one of a kind call Sabian ProtoType nice sounding hats..got 10" & 14"
Snares -no Reference Series, no 13" Snare at all there. Alot of Tama
Drum Kit - Pearl Session both Maple & Birch S$1950Nett, Pearl Vison (like not nice ley S$ 1100 Nett)...all these after less 50%..Got Black Rythmn Traveller, Tama SuperStar, Ludwig Accent, Tama ImperialStar, Premier also. Tama Warlord-nice, Tama Bulbinga also.
A unique 10" Sabain Cymbal with 16 rivets - dark cymbal.
Alot of Cobra single & Double.
Alot of Remo Batters even the NEW MODEL of PINSTRIPE (dunno what they call it)....gd time to buy skins..
alot of headphones too 4 models after less cheapest is $16
Yes Jimmy Lee was there and I saw alot of Thompson people there too.but people want to test guitar there - they say cannot test tomorow sales - I think guitar cannot test one at 50% tomorow.
When I left at 5.30pm - already got 2 boys camping there for the night till tomorrow......many of my Friends I saw there too...

You know how much the deal with Airbus for the A380s was? About S$8,000,000,000. This month, they just inked another deal with Airbus for 20 A350s for S$5,700,000,000. SIA is a critical customer.
Also, another reason for compensation was because they were legally bound. There are penalty clauses in the contract they signed, with specific performance indicators.
Airbus isn't the only one in the game, if SIA is pissed off, they'll move their billions to Boeing instead. Hence, a reason to be competitive - Those two are constantly fighting for contracts. Planes are HUGE ticket items man. Makes the most expensive drum kit look like spare change.
Just a thought, if you put it in context, $5 million compensation in a $8 billion deal, is like compensating you with 5 bucks if you bought $8K worth of gear.
Anyway, we're crazy. Talking about Planes in a sale thread. Haha.
