i remember 2 years ago at the Aljunied branch sale
I was quoted $500 more for a Roland sound module than the usual price.
usual price: $1350
quote price: $1800 ???
pls be aware of the market price before committing to buy.
Swee Lee runs the busines like a Chinese family business
without customer concern and so unprofessional. How can
such thing happens quoting price $500 more?
Probably the sales guy thought I'm new to the product,
but eventuall I bought a used one for $500 less.
used price: $800.
Citymusic has very good competitive price, since the boss's
son took over, the shop is well managed and maintained.
They are very professional in dealing with customers.
The boss's son can play the guitar and keyboards very well !!!
Yamaha may not be competitive when it comes to price and the customer service is not too bad depending which sales person are serving you. Just last week, when I was testing the MOTIF ES6, I spoke to this
young sales guy and he said with my home setup I should be getting
the rack version instead. Well, I say this is professional service; telling
the customer their needs and not just trying to get $$$ out from the customer.
Sinamex should be good? never bought anything from them.
oh yes, did buy a M-audio UNO usb midi cable.

i chat with most people and they seem to be confused with the price..
wat the staffs quoted u is after 20% without gst :lol: i cant blif people are thinking that on top of that, there is a 50% sale..
e.g. Epi LP Std Plus: usual price is $800, list price is $640. you take 50% off the usual price, not the list price. most people will think it $320 after discount, but actually its $400 :lol: that's where all the bickering and flaming starts.

Maybe you're right, but also understand that it is their Perogative & their Rights and who says that should Swee Lee wanted to offer a Sales to the public...Swee Lee will have to give ample time for announcement to the public...That being said - They also reserve the right should they not want to conduct offers like this...Then..the public will complain again...Why No Sales 50% Har This Time (as it is expected as a yearly event)...correct?
So just be happy lah.

hey- am i contesting their rights? re-read the posts; i'm not one of them. i've always supported swee lee's business, the sheer number of their products being reviewed here is proof enough.
