Suggestion: keep ad threads off front page

At any one time, the 'latest posts' list on the SOFT front page contains 5 or 6 advert threads (frequently repeatedly bumped by the less conscientious sellers/buyers to keep them in the public eye) which keeps articles of real interest out of the list.

Yes, you might argue, why don't I go and surf the individual forums to find stuff - of course, I can do this, :twisted: but why should I? Should the SOFT front page be allowed to degenerate into nothing more than a clone of Luther classified ads?

thanks for your feedback. i think the better way would be to have different blocks to seperate the Ads from the other post.

9.30 am - 8 out of 10 threads on the front page are adverts of some kind.
