I HAVE the grg270
It is an awesome guitar!!!
Very good! HSH pickups are great and it is overall very nice....
But remember to ask them to set it up b4 you bring it home or you will get some small problems...
If you dont want the tremolo or not gonna use it dont buy the grg270...coz tuneing it its a bit hard!
the good part is the grg270 is only$400 after swee lees usual dicount off the listed price,so after that you got $100 left to buy amp,i suggest the micro cube like i got it only costs $150

ILT & the TRS makes are lacking in terms of tuning stability. i will still urge would-be buyers to avoid these if they can afford to invest in other alternatives as good floating vibratos are very affordable these days.

definitely. guitars with reputable floating vibrato bridge list for more than $700.

however, if you do not whammy, there are more bargains out there...

Why no one recommend the RG350 for 600+ ... It's alot better than those ugly S series guitars .. the edge III trem is good, but i would recommend you learn from someone how to restring them ..

i think u should not get a floating bridge, because it may be a pain to look after, tuning, restring etc. get like a hardtail for now, since ur beginner

the 'you guys' here is largely me doing it. my inclusion on list prices upon mentioning/ reviewing a certain product, is an intention to avoid a 'how much is it' query from ever being posted- it's a very unproductive discussion.

the list price is a fair quote because discounted prices are the discretion of the stores. you state a discount here & other parties state their personal discounts- in time to come, there'll be disputes all round. it's more polite to discuss discounts with the stores, if you intend to do so among yourselves, it's best through PM/ e-mail. i hope you understand the situation.
