Stupidest thing you've done for loved ones

Ok, I'm bored at work with nothing to do. And suddenly this thought came across my mind. I just got to know that a particular friend of mine, bought a brand new high end TAMA drumset for a girl he's been chasing after.

She plays the drums, that's why he thought it was wise to use that as a bait. Few weeks after he bought it for her, she started to avoid him, but she still keeps the drumset with her. Now he's bummed out.

We humans are fools when it comes to love, and will do anything for love, I mean ANYTHING. That's his story.
So I wanna hear your story: What is the stupidest thing you've done for a loved one?

stupidest??

1) Do anything, hoping for something in return
2) Do anything, thinking theres will be something in return
3) Do anything, wishing it will be appreciated
4) Do anything, wanting it to last forever
5) Do anything, lusting for piak piak
6) Do anything, thinking its care and concern
7) Do anything, but thinking properly
8 ) Do anything, thought really its something special
9) Do anything, and get your brain fried willlingly
10) Do anything, one gets nothing in the end and for piak sake, he/she so piaking deserve it! For really doing anything and wishing for something in return.

imho, the girl has done nothng wrong. When somebody wanna be a fool, then get ready to be fooled, coz no one forced them to be a fool, in the first place

Hmm... I really really love my dog and almost sold my AC30 to pay for her surgery. I still don't know if i should cause both amp and dog have a lot of value to me... :(

He's 22 this yr. But sad thing ah, he never consult any of his friends b4 giving it to her. At least if he told either one of us, we can prevent the damage from happening.
Out of a sudden, we got to know from his sis about this story.

kerplunk...maybe you can find something else thats valuable to sell off for your dog's surgery.
Maybe your 1969 vintage boxers, or your titanium bicycle chains.
They're worth $$ too...

All the best for your dog's surgery dude.

he doesn't need to consult friends on this. it's friggin' four - six thousand dollars. and he's 22. sweet jesus.

he was too desperate and it showed.

is the girl hot?

something tells me there will be at least one epic fail picture posted up.

oh vick, how much's the surgery?

I've never ever done anything stupid, like really stupid for a loved one, in face, the dumbest thing I've ever done was fling a char siew pau at the fan back in secondary school, and it was for my own personal laugh. I thank my lucky stars that I have a very strong logical-asshole instinct.

trusting ONE girl too much, thinking that she will be there for me for my 2 years of army.

of course, i sucked it in, moved on, grew up and learnt not to put too much trust in people from then on ;)

trusting doesnt get anything in return. I say, thrust more, that one, at least when no trust, theres memories to think back on how much thrusting there was...

warped and straight exist from the same line, viewed in different orientations

trusting and thrusting coexist. we must choose accordingly, according to situations.

that said, Thrust ftw, 50% of the time

I know this girl for a year plus. NEVER MET. But she always send me some surprises to my house, as she knows where I lived.

wah damn sad. u need ppl to go crash the house and get that drumset back ?

smth like what happened to me uh. but wayy lesser in terms of the value.
but i was just as hurt.

fell in love.
sayang too much.
bought her 100 bucks necklace.
some ex handbag.
and a chocolate bar everyday for her .

she accepts everything.
and gives me jus a cold ' Thank You ' .

love sucks when u fail .
but love is sweet when u succeed.
i'm happily attached right now for a year plus already .
different girl of course.

found out that the one i was going after only goes for guys with 'names'
like big f*ck in school or gangster kind uh.
seriously , pathetic.

ah well ..
