Well, from what I think squirrel, you don't need to buy such a expensive gear if you're still new to guitar. However, if you really serious in guitar,then go for it otherwise you would just be wasting your money.
You may want to consider a Epiphone Les Paul or Epiphone LP Custom. As for the amps, try out a solid-state or a good modelling amp first. If you live in HDB/Condo, buying a tube amp may not be worth it as you can't maximise the full potential of your amp.
Tube amps have to be cranked up to full volume to sound good as the tubes need to be heated up.
For a start, maybe you can take a look at the Peavey Vypyr series as their amps are quite good as they offer MANY different effects and amp tones. It is a modelling amp but its quite good as they have a lot of features in them. It is also better as you don't have to buy pedals and effects YET as most of them are included in the amp.
