Spalwn Quickrod and Suhr video

Hey guys,

Here is a video from a show i did last weekend. Used my Splawn Quickrod and a Mesa Boogie wide body 1x12 with it. Wala's stage was pretty small, so it sounded just right. One guitar through out the night, my Suhr super strat.

Boss GT-10 was in the loop of the Splawn, controlling the delays, modulations and overall volume. In the front were just 4 pedals. Retrosonic Overdrive, Analogman Chorus Redwitch Moonphase and Digitech Whammy.

Sound quality from the camera mic isn't at it's best. But here it is.

Brandon, as a testimony to your album, "I Obviously Do" is still screwing my head left, right and center... Thanks for that!

Hi nanoshred, great playing and tone u got there! kudos! Dun mind sharing the settings on ur splawn? Btw is ur splawn a dual channel or single channel amp?

The splawn is a 2 channel marshall type amp. A gain channel and a clean channel. But, i don't use the clean channel at all. Just down the gain stage on the gain channel and roll down my volume knob.

Settings are : Presence 0, Bass 3 o'clock, Mids 2 o'clock, Treble 8 o'clock, Volume 12 o'clock
Gain 2 o'clock

I see, so does it clean up well & does it have gd clean tones? Or it is still kinda like an overdriven tone even after lowering the guitar vol? Thanx for the info bro, cause i may be considering getting a competition 50 watt but its a single channel amp thus i wanna know whether splawn amps clean up well, cheers!
