On a 7??? how much tension do you want to exert on that 7th string???

use the same gauge as the 6th string? buy one extra for that gauge. harhar. i just randomly get that out of my mind. just thinking of possibilities.

Mute the E and strum the rest? Is it possible to do that with 1 finger? I don't think it is, and even if it could be done, its not convenient . That would defeat the convenience of drop D...

well, he asked if its possible. of course it is. if u speak of convenience then, my answer would have been different.

still, hahaha i dont believe anyone would do that though. get a 7 string, play like it should. 2 tunings on a guitar, get 2 neck guitar or simply get 2 guitar.
