You can check out quite a few amps, actually. Blackstar HT-1, HT-5, Vox Lil Night Train, Vox AC4TV, etc. All available locally, too! Blackstar: Woodworkz Vox: City Music These are the amps I've owned/tested before, I'm sure there are some other little gems out there. Happy hunting!

Blackheart Killer Ant: Yamaha
Sound Drive Tube 7: SV Guitars
Vox Lil' Night Train: City Music
Vox AC4tv: City Music
z.Vex Nano: Blackwood Guitars
Blackstar HT-5: Woodworkz

Prices go find yourself.

may I ask what is the purpose of buying the smallest tube amp? let us know what kind of tones you want to get and also give us a rough budget to work on.

Well, I bought the HT-1 as I found the sound most acceptable. If you are looking for clean sound from the little amp, the setting is volume FULL and gain about 10 o'clock. Pretty decent but use a good set of headphones so you can keep the volume and/or the gain down if you really want it clean. For a dirty sound, this little amp is brilliant. It has a built-in reverb, which isn't too bad actually. Plus the build quality and appearance of the amp won me over. As for the Vox series, I didn't quite agree with the tone, be it clean or dirty. It seemed a tad flat, at least to me. And it didn't look as purposeful as the Blackstar. I could be slightly biased as I've the HT-5 stack before, but then when I went shopping for a bedroom amp, I gave these 2 brands a good try and decided on the HT-1, with a 4x8 cab. Nice and tight, punchy and still gets up to pretty anti-social volumes! Good luck, man!

are you planning to use this amp strictly for self practise at home?

if so, then a 1 watt would be good. but that also depends on how loud you're gonna practise. if you practise close to studio volumes, a 1 watt will not be able to deliver the cleans you are looking for.

Well, i'm gonna use it for rm practice.
Important character of the amp is- I need it to have a very
crystal clean sound, as for the dirty, i can use my distortion pedal.
easy to carry around.....
