Small Pedalboard - Options?

I've already got the PT-Jr HC actually. Was looking for something lighter, preferably something that the board is the base so I can just lift the lid off and plug in.

Was toying with the idea of getting Ebenex to customise a hardcase for my PT-JR such that I don't have to take the board out of the case.

I too was looking for something like that in the beginning.

And I personally think that one very big flaw of such designs is that they do not accommodate the space needed for the cables jacks at the edges of the board itself. I remember having such a hard time arranging my pedals in order for them to accommodate the cables jacks, especially if your placing them at the edges of the board.

Hence I decided to get with the pedaltrain, no raised edges! :D

The Pt-Jr is really light in itself, but I agree with you, the HC is a bitch to lug around. Add in your pedals and your instrument and it's like doing SOC before going to a jam/gig!

the problem i had with the small road ready was that it lacked depth. and i got some big ass mofo pedals that are my staples and they wouldnt fit cos the board was too shallow. anyway the NYC boards look really cool, i seriously wouldnt mind getting one

i find pedaltrains heavier as compared to a mrmisse board of the same size. however an important inclusion is the contoured grip(soft case)....it doesent cut so much into your fingers like the latter does... this is especially important if you plan to carry your equipment over long distances in public transport...

road ready hardcases, i saw a few at ranking sports the other time, retails for about 30-50 bucks... have sizes for 4-6 boss sized pedals.. haha but not worth the weight (pedals included) IMHO.

anyone knows of this hardcases? i went down and asked them but they said road ready was for gig bags =.=

there was 1 small one too. but too 'thick' for my liking.

they're opposite the gig bags. Near the cymbals. Did you try asking for pedalboards? Try music theme and novelty music. They stock RR pedalboards and the novelty uncle gives discounts once in awhile.

sorry to hijack but does anybody here knows where else I can get the PT JR softcase here in Singapore and if they have any stock? I am not sure if Ebenex still has them?

I just bought a very cheap but sturdy pedalboard from Davis yesterday. I was surprised how cheap it was... $55??! what more could I ask for. I'll post pics later... :)

hmmm...waiting for pics...do you have the dimensions of the board?

here you go... I put in my pedals so you could have an idea what is the size of the board.
