Small Amps Lists

The shop name is East Side Guitar by the way..
and ask kim more about the orange crush..
price should be 300 bucks..
plenty of good comments about it, so i guess the thread starter should try it out too..
i still wanna hunt for rocktron amps! X)

Hey all, thanks for all input sorry i could not post in earlier. Been too busy to actually gather all the thoughts down.

Updated is the list so far and yes subversion i should add some comments for the rest as well. what i will put is basically my own opinion. Hopefully this list will help those thats gonna be looking for such amps. Let's do away with the smokeys and the one without speakers and vinatge stuff, what you wnat in this is is smthing that you can practise at home and carry out as well for maybe a small venue...again, let's consider price and hopefully we can find gems in here...:D

1. Metero Atomic Drive (Great price and has one of the best distortions around) - SGD 230
2. Orange Crush 15 (Super warm and loud, needs stepdown transfomer) - SGD 250
3. Vox Pathfinder 15R (Gd little amp to play with a justifiable pricetag)
4. Johnson Loredo ( VEry warm and fantastic reverb plus great price tag) - SGD 180
5. Roland Cube (i have a old roland 40 which is very different from the current models, but from my old roland, it's really loud and has a very lushy chorus, no digital effects) - N/A
6. Epi Valve Junior (mod it and you will get a monster amp with great potential)
7. Ibanez Valbee (Very mediocre amp, dun really get the tube thing going on.)
8. Fender Frontman (Average clean amp and runs well with the Pod XT live)
9. Behringer Vintager ( Great alternative to the tech 21 series)
10. Kustom (i have not experience with kustom amps)
11. Pignose (no experience with it)
12. Ibanez Toneblaster X 30R (no experience with it)
13. Marshall MG15MSII ( does it job but the metero edges it out in all depts)
14. Laney HCM30R (no experience but i had the lanery 15R which was gd but pricey)
15. Rocktron Rampage (no experience with it but had heard great things about it. anyone using it?)

anymore to add to the list? appreciate the feedbacks. again, comments are based on my own experience...i am very interested in trying the kustom and the rocktron.

juz a suggestion *dun flame me please!*..

why not add the price..

if a person with limited budget wants to check out those amps..at least he knows the price bracket of the amps and wudnt have to go ard checkin the price only to find that its way beyond his budget..saves him alot of time and effort.

i mean..IF you people know the price la.

gd idea but i am not very updated with the prices of these amps. will fill in where i can, the rest can contirbute. :)

loredo the hybrid one is sed to cost 150SGD at davis..heard they bring them in no more..

apparently music theme and ranking sports(i tink ) has some stock.

i bought the last one off at music theme. Aparently he had 10 of them and its all gone. Hopefully he might bring in more.

12. Ibanez Toneblaster X 30R (no experience with it)

Warm-sounding amp, with excellent (in my opinion, so might be subjective) warm cleans and good onboard OD/distortion. Massive improvements over its discontinued previous form (Toneblaster).

Takes pedals well.
