Hi guys, i wnat to compile a list of small/bedrm amps that sounds great and is affordable. Please give me your suggestions if you have any but please the criteria are as follows:

1.) Either tube or solid state doesnt matter
2.) Size matters, should be small and portable
3.) Price should not be more than $300

This list should not be exhaustive but im just trying to see what is exactly available out there that i am not aware of. If you all have any recommendations to be added to to criteria, pls let me know and we can have a little bit of fun here. BUt PLEASE dun go out of topic. Looking at gd valued amps here.

Some i have thought of and come across:

Metero Atomic Drive
Orange Crush 15
Vox Pathfinder 15R
Johnson Loredo
Roland Cube
Epi Valve Junior
Ibanez Valbee (i dun think its gd but that's subjective)
Fender Frontman
Behringer Vintager
Kustom
Pignose

what else is out there...let me know..:D

Ibanez Toneblaster X 30R. $350. $280 after standard Sweelee 20% discount.

Size is your typical 25/30W amps.
Weight is 7.4kg, which is lighter than usual for the kind of amp it is.

the cigarette pack ... smokie ?
the animal shaped ... skizo or something like tat
the small little marshals ms2 ms4
the small little johnsons
all solid state and can battery power

You can put the Ruby and the Crickets in if that's the case. OLCircuits offers the tube cricket.

The tube cricket looks super cool but no price yet. Do you know if they're on sale already?

the valbee (IMO) isnt that great a tube amp. FWIW i have one and planning on upgrading to a ceriatone 18 watt or similar asap.

shouldn't there be comments for the other listed amps as well? why the ValBee only?

Nope... I think he's still ironing out the details... But you can always email him.

I'd like the solidstate noisy cricket though. Damn, the ones that Dano makes are so small and elegant.

heys.. today i had the privilege to hear a Rocktron Rampage AMPLIFIER in action..
didnt know they made amps.. but i saw it with my own eyes.. around 10-15W..
i am not sure.. the sound was amazing though..
did sparkling cleans but other amps could definitely have done it better..
but its a gem when it comes to distortion.. seriously massive sweep for distortion..
able to handle heavy stuff too..
not sure price wise.. but it was seriously a hell of a good amp..
major surprise for me.. or you could go for marshall avt series which may be out of your budget..
the orange you mentioned is a good choice though..

any idea where to get the orange crush 15?and how much will it cost?
oh and im using the ibanez toneblaster 15D and i think its a pretty good and cheap solidstate amp. :D
