well there's a big gap between the russia gig between now till feb 13th on their calendar. and you never know, there's like 5 days in between india and new zealand, and compare that to only the 4 days they have to make it from new zealand to mexico. anything's possible. I'd think they've been contacted, which is why there are rumours from the source you guys mentioned. Like we dont know who the source is already. LOL

She, whoops, i mean the source told me that it was supposed to happen in 2005 but they pulled out just before the contract could be negotiated or something. and I doubt they couldnt get the crowd. There's Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and whereever around us. The fanbase there, let alone here would be more than enough. Heck it might make history for all you know. Padang also would be amazing, anything really. But yeah, irregardless of whether they do come, I'm gonna travel next year or next next year and catch them somewhere. Then I can die happy

I think there're pretty many Iron Maiden fans in Singapore, There're loads of new young fans too, though... you know. Haha.

I'm more surprised that they will be playing in Dubai of all places!

Actually there's nothing surprising at all for them to play in Dubai. Bands like MAYHEM, TESTAMENT, MEGADETH, even DISSECTION (If I'm not wrong) have played there. They have Desert Rock Open Air Festival held there every year, which is comparable to Wacken Open Air. And Dubai's metal scene is one of the more well-known ones among the whole Middle Eastern metal scene. Check out Nerve Cell from there, featuring drummer of Psycroptic (all the way from Tasmanian Island. Hahaha!!), the top band from Dubai who always opens for big acts whenever they go there. Fvckin' killer Death Metal band, very under-rated.
