I just think its too short a clip to actually give any sound criticism/feedback in terms of whether its a good or bad ballad or whether you are on your way to one...in a way it becomes more of a show of skill rather than what I thought was a song,by readin the post before I downloaded the track...
And some people are right, it sounds nothing like a ballad but like I said its too short, perhaps random in a way...which begs the question of why post the clip in the first place...but thats just me...
I'm no guitarist...though I have definitely recorded my share of them and can tell if something sound off in terms of execution but I am just looking at it from a song point of view and not just guitar skills.
From the your replies in this thread it would seem you have a rough gauge of what you want to do so perhaps you should just finish the piece then post it for people to comment instead of these small sound bites...I know I would...
