Any love for the SG here, be it copy or Gibson, show them here, especially if you have a Gibson SG Junior in cherry red. 8)

Probably the most underated guitar in this forum.

I love the SG. I've got an Epiphone Gothic SG, and it kicks all kinds of asses. Its neck pickup is especially sweet. And it's ultra convenient in accomodating the way I play.

SGs all the way

the SG- a constant reminder of Gibson's inertia to R&D, that neck diving peculiarity has to go...

i only like one version of the SG thusfar, the Faded edition- the lacquerless feel is superb.

I got a epi entry level sg.
Modded it here and there
Pickups, knobs,tuners.
And it sounds pretty decent.
Im aiming for a Gibson sg standard or maybe a lp for my next guitar

How does the SG compare to the LP?

Just like how apple compares to orange?

Different tone, different feel. SG don't get muddy some LP does.

I do like LP though in the form of a singlecut. :smt003

Nope, I am refering to Epiphone. I am now using a LP Std Plus. Thinking of getting another Epiphone or maybe switching to Ibanez. But I kow nothing about Ibanez.

My dream guitar will always remain as a polaris white Gibson SG special. Something like this, of which belongs to Pete Townshend.

Wah. I was stunned for a moment. I don't have good impression with Epis (less MIJs). I believe you will do better getting the upcoming PRS Singlecut SE or any MIJ LPs. Make sure the maple is cap, not veneer.

ah-har! now someone started a SG post. lol
are there going to be like strat, tele, RG, S, players come in...topics in the future?

i do have an Epiphone G400. hmm...one flaw for me would be the thickness of the neck. it's too thick to my liking. I prefer something like a strat feel.

other than that, it's cool. feels light, fret access all the way up.

I like thick necks, the 50s neck carve should be perfect. However, the 60s neck carve on my 61 Reissue is just fine, and one of the better necks I have played thus far.

G400 is a pretty fine guitar, change the pots and pups and you're all good to go.

my G400 comes with a bigsty tremolo. and i find it a hassle in string changing, additionally, i do not use that at all.

So can i change the bigsty to a stoptail or something? what's the bridge on that white gibson SG shown above?

Wraparound. Kinda like the PRS one but much cruder version imo.

Yeah Darkness, he switched out the bridge.

Is it me, or did you add even more stickers to your axe. I see Osiris, of which I am a fan of.

SG user here, too bad cant take any pictures. Actually I don't really like the design of SG, even until now. I choose the sg just because it feel most comfy to me.
