I've managed to play this against a OCD amd a BB preamp. All of which boast the similar "uncoloured" "transparent" preamp kine of sound.
The TTC is really voiced for classic rock players. Not a very modern sounding pedal. The gain amounts though... On its own, is quite abit. You can really start churning out Iron Maiden riffs.
The TTC also has 2 channels. So you could play this with another delay pedal and you're really set.
On the top end its slightly fizzier. Something like a Crowther Audio Hotcake.
The midrange is neutral and can be brought in and out by means of adjusting the bass and treble controls.
I reccomend you try it to feel how it responds to your picking attack and dynamics. I enjoyed it because it had a very natural feel to it. No ton of compression stuff going even when the gain was really high, and yet it sustains well without sounding choked off.
Hope this helps you a little.
