that belongs to a customer from Russia. It's a once off built. According to my knowledge, the enclosure cost a bomb. Thus, if you ask me, that's a real collectors item.

all you need is just a tubescreamer or in my case a common boss ds1 to slam the front end of the pedal if you want insane chug, just like how most metal players use pedals to slam the front end of their high gain amp.

just regarding the vid, i'm still an amateur. but i was very excited about it because i still can't get that tone out of my head.

anyways, when i put the 2 ODs to compare. i wasn't comparing to which one is better. but more to give a rough gauge between different range of ODs. of course, it's just 2...

but at this point of time, my thoughts are basically any OD, whether Klon or OD1 or Timmy or TS, will just push the seventheaven. the tone is fantastic. i was just telling ray from kate of kale that it's like perfect for punk rock!! it's still in my head...

the 7th can definitely chugga... with the boost switch engaged it really gets into the loose kind of bogner-like chug. not absolutely tight sounding, but thats what its good at. for tight sounds, boost the 7th with another booster in front. but most of the time i really just dig chugging the 7th at that "loose" setting, and cranking it up.. good stuff.

in fact i like chugging it more with the green channel + boost as compared to red channel + boost.

hi all. im looking for a new distortion pedal and i came across this. it seems very well-liked and popular. and best of all, made in singapore! but may i ask is the grey one shown in the 1st post the same as the black one shown in recent posts? also, how versatile is this pedal? im looking for one that can allow me to play blues, all the way to maybe slight metal? is this pedal capable of achieving that?

This is very well capable of doing so. I play everything from pop to hard rock (think lifehouse to emarosa).

It can kop a whole wide range of tones when tweaked well, esp with the two channels. the low and high gain, allows you to get a real wide range of tones. and for more chugga, stack it!

The 7th sounds no where as harsh as the Fullbore, its a terrible comparison really. The soundclips speak for themselves. I think fehlupkid has done a very very good job with the demos.

Stacking means using another overdrive or distortion in front of the pedal for saturation and an extra gain boost.

i personally haven't tried the fullbore metal... so i have no input on the comparison.

but fret not... gearmandude should receive the seventheaven in a couple of days time. i think we are going to see his demo of it in a week or 2... !!!!
