Section FAQs

Heya, stumbled across this idea while I was writing the effects post just now. How about making FAQs for newbie questions that are repeated often? They could be stickied and there would probably be less of the same threads around asking questions about what so-and-so is. Perhaps a few for starters e.g. Effects, types of gear, basic FAQs like changing strings or beginner tabs, amp and pedal settings to get the tone of your favourite artist, compilation of guitar shops etc.

Anyone else think it would be helpful?

I already have a small guitar effects FAQ post, I'll write a more detailed one after my tests end on tuesday :lol:

there can also be a brand related FAQ eg: Ibanez, which i will be more than happy to participate in 8)

i suggest a "how to play fast/well" section, but sadly i cannot contribute to that due to my playing level.

I can also try a Fender type FAQ. Will be starting soon, school and insomnia = bad combo.
