Ikan,i'm playing jrock now,so far in the past i have been playing Avenged Sevenfold stuff and the Duncan Designed actives have worked well for me,however now i'm trying to mimic a Fender tone,the pickups sounds a bit harsh now.....Gah!Not that i'm complaining though....A Fender's tone is hard to replicate.

Nah i dun like to change pickups,never tried before and i dun think i'm gonna do it.Though i started this thread and the thread name is Schecter Appreciation,i gotta admit,i'm saving up for a Telecaster.

Syn, not sure whether active p/ups can be wired this way but the coil split/tapped SD JB on my Classic can replicate the single coil'ish sound quite well.
Now, the least that you can do is just leave your Schecter as it is. I'm sure once in a while you'll miss the good 'ole humbuckie. So, what kinda stuff are planning to play now? Country? :twisted:

THOA: I never seen or heard of that one. But I know there was a few C-1 limited edition Schecters released long time back. I didn't pay any attention to them cos to me limited edition = extra money.
But this Camo guitar seems to be in the 2009 series right?

Ikan:Country?No....Eh....Ever heard of this japanese singer and guitarist called YUI?I'm playing her songs now,and her guitar tone is....How i do i explain it.It's like overdrive with more distortion,but not so much so that it produces too trebly sounds.Like the classic rock sounds,you know?I find it hard to explain unless you listen to some songs.I'm not going to sell or trade my C-1 FR,i've grown rather attached to it.Only thing that pisses me off is the restringing and tuning part,the first time i did it my ass was numb by the time i finished.The tone was the primary reason why i liked Schecter in the first place,so yeah,but too bad the tone of the C-1 is a bit too distorted for the songs i'm playing now,hence the decision to save up for a Telecaster.(yeah i'm really mad over this artist.
).I do play some Avenged and other metal stuff every now and then,and that's when i like my C-1 tone all over again.Girlpants:Schecter Telecaster?I saw it when i was jamming at the Guitar77 studio....No i'm saving up for a Fender Telecaster....you knew that all along didn't you you cheeky person.

I think they just released it...Last time i checked the Schecter site,it ain't there yet....Then again,i checked the site in March i think....
