Never knew you were a kotzen fan too man. How does the strat pickups sound? Are they noiseless?

I got mine for about 105,000 yen.

It's about SG$1370, not a bad price, does that include shipping?
With that kind of price more people will buy it online rather than the local dealers here.

Opps, my bad. I converted the price wrongly ( i did a conversion from sing to yen, it was supposed to be USD to Yen) . Its 143,000 yen. I got it at about 1865 sing. Inclusive of shipping , i hit slightly below the 2k mark. The kotzen guitars are always slightly more expensive when shipping out. The euro prices are pretty insane at 1299 euros!

haha Am an 80's freak.. first heard of him when I bought Poison's Native tongue as a sec 2 student (never eat in school for 3 days can afford a casette!) boy in 1993...

Native tongue is killer man. Probably my fav. Poison CD. Of course having your favourite guitar player on it also helps. lol.

Ya its quite pricy. Its not cheap shipping one in yourself, but i managed to save myself a few hundred bucks still.

I think the export price might be slightly different. Plus the kotzen teles have seen a $300 increase from the old price. I still remember 2 yrs ago, drooling at the pics of the tele online and back then it was only $1400.

true. In any case this year fender Jap increased their prices late march apparently due to rising costs of production.

..but will still aim for the rk strat end of the year if got enuff funds

bro you were a little slow, should've pulled the trigger earlier..just saw the revamped ishibashi site and surprised that it's 138k yen now..used to be 124k..got mine at abt 105k second hand..mine's the older TLR-145RK, supposedly the neck is slightly thicker than the current 155RKs..must compare one day bro..

Holy crap...its thicker then the current one? Hows that playable? lol. Yeah but ishibashi doesn't ship out of Japan anymore and it seems the prices now when shipping the guitar to outside of Japan is definitely gonna be pricier. They seem to have priced the export prices higher.

Managed to used the guitar at a show yesterday, fared very well. Gave a new sound to the high gain tone. Lovely sounding snap and responsiveness, although the increased clarity and unforgiving nature of the guitar punished me all night long with my mistakes.

ha i'm sure the difference, if any, would be slight..or like you said it would be really fat..ya the telecaster's a very unforgiving guitar..if you don't play it well it'll show...i've been learning to live with that for the past few years haha..yeah the overdrive tones on the RK are smokin' good..now i wish i had a cornford though i can only wish haha...

Roadhouse 30 man. Those new cornfords go for 699 euros. But still big on tone and sound awesome. Do a search online for them. Guthrie did up alot of sound clips for the new roadhouse. Awesome stuff.

no shit man...never thought i'd be able to smell a cornford anytime soon..that's a pretty decent price for a cornford..yeah Ized, wasn't referring to the Guvnor Guthrie though his tone through his cornford is to die for as well..was referring to RK's RK100 cornford..

Yeah i have been checking them out. The best thing is, its made in the UK, so we definitely don't have to worry about voltage problems. The price is superbly tempting and comes with a pair of el34s too. Very british sounding. Could afford it if i sold my current amp.
