Rhythm machine vs virtual drum software

Ok, I confess...I suck at drums. Totally hopeless at it. Tried it, practiced it and still I suck, so I decided to just stick to my guitar. Thing is, I want to have a setup at home where I can record my songs in entirety, ie with drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, etc and the only other option when it comes to my drumming needs is either one of those rhythm machines like the Zoom RT-223 or Boss' Dr Rhythm series, or a drumming software that is run on my PC like Fruity Loops or Sequbeat, something I used a long time ago.

Which would you recommend, and for each recommendation, which particularly model/software would you suggest? Thanks in advance for the help, guys...before you give any advice, pls bear in mind that I'm totally clueless in drumming jargon...:)

if you have guitar pro, you could get guitar tabs from UG and some of those tabs actually have backing drum tracks.

or you could write your own drum tracks in guitar pro and they play it back for you

guitarpro's drum tracks has a very MIDI-like kind of sound but it's good though. you could try this program called Acoustica Beatcraft. it's quite easy to use and can produce drum tracks in mp3 format.

hope this helps.
