Selling my beloved vintage 1981 Yamaha SG1000 aka "Les Paul Killer"
Replaced the fretwire to Dunlop Accu-fret (6100 Jumbo), due to the wear, and changed the pots cos the original ones jammed when i first bought it. The tone pots (both) has the push-push selector for that humbucker to single coil vice versa. Original Yamaha Split humbucker pickups, and has dings at some places but does not effect the sound.
It a neck thru, not bolt-ons. Neck is straight, tension is low..and it's heavy! Plays good, feels good and sounds good!
All the changes (refrettings, pots changings and tension setups was done at Guitar Workshop, thanks to Francis and his crews, to make this beauty as original as possible) It comes with the original vintage leather Yamaha gig bag.
Viewing/trying will be done at my place, at my convenient timing of cos..no worries, no obligatons..check it out for yamaha sg1000 reviews. looking at $1600 but the price is negotiable. Do contact me at 93651525 for more info. Thanks..
