Reduce vintage trem arm flutter.

Hey, how do u guys make the screw on trem arm of a strat more tight or stable? I dun dare screwing in too much.

Please kindly advise. Thanks

Its called Trem Arm Springs
drop a hard spring in the thread hole and insert your trem...it will hold nice.

There is always thread seal tape from hardware store. I taped a few round on a guitar trem arm thread to make the arm stays in position. Now the trem arm can stay or swing.

Goose is spot on! That's the way I sort my own strat's swinging action. Experiement with various springs to fit in and snip to approx 1cm lenght. you can find these sprngs easily in ball point pens eg. This works with American Standards, MIJs, MIM and Custom Shop Strats. :)
