Recommendations for chorus pedal.

I'm gonna buy a chorus pedal and I'm looking to buy an analogman chorus. But before I go out and buy the analogman chorus, does anyone have any other suggestions in mind? I dun like my chorus to sound too digital, the boss CH1 sounds more like a synthesizer than a chorus, if you know what I mean.

Hi, have previously used the EH small clone, Voodoo Labs Chorus, H2O, and Boss CE-1.

Depending on the type of sound/music you're going for, all of them work well.

As for Analog Man, listen to the sound clips provided on the web site - that gives you an indication of how versatile the thing is.

For me, if I want Nirvana sound, EH is it.
If I want 80's rock vibe, CE-2
If I need Hendrix-esque feel, Voodoo Labs
If I want the SRV-esque sound, Voodoo or H2O will do the trick.
If I want U2, H2O

Hey Azaro, I play a bit of everything, but most of the time you will catch me stealing blues licks from the radio and churning out 80's classic rock riffs. I need a really versatile and natural sounding chorus pedal, which in my case I think the analogman is the most versatile and the most natural sounding. I'm sure the analogman can do the Stevie and Nirvana quite well, thou I'm not interested in Kurt Cobain's guitar tone. But I also need something that can do classic rock and metal well. I'm jus worried paying almost 400 bucks for something that doesn't suit my needs. That's is why I need you guy's advice.

i own the H20, it is my favourite Chorus,

However do note that there may be a slight boost in volume when you switch it on.Very slight, some pple like it , some don't.

Just friendly advice.

Perhaps you're turning too much effects on the CH1. I run it at E.Level at 10 o'clock, the rest at 2 o'clock.

I do agree that the CH1 can sound too digital for some.

haha what kinda chorus can i use to get a nice clean shimmering sound? got an ibanez cf7 but dosent satisfy.

any chorus can get a shimmering sound. But whether or not we like the sound, thats another thing.

Try n get the Boss Ce2 if u can find one. may haf 2 pay up to 180 for a taiwan one. a jap one cld cost more. or get marshall supervibe.

i can also get the deep shimmering tone,think Trixter's & def leppard's clean sounds
btw kurt cobain got some really nice cardigans djeng djeng

im still using my faithful H20 ... the delay isnt much to wow about... more of an echo.. but the chorus is really sweet.
