cables have been shitting out on me.

any one who own cables that still work after massive tugging, pulling and abuse?

i'm thinking of giving the lava vintage coiley a shot.

I like Tone Drive cables. I've been using them for years and absolutely no problems at all. Made in Korea, too, and very affordable. @ Standard Value.

Mogami gold with neutrik silent plugs works well for me. The strain relief on the neutriks protect against accidental tugging.

some personal recommendations (because I own/ have been using them):

1. Ibanez Series DS cables- affordable, low-noise

2. Planet Waves Custom Pro series- low-noise + this new series are equipped with Amphenol plugs (ie durable, reliable contact)

3. Canare cable + Amphenol/ Cabletek plugs- BEEZ offering these, you pick your own colour/ length/ plug options... BEEZ also does patch cables so best to call him & work out some arrangements (there might be discount in the works if you are nice... he he...)

me using self soldered belden cable ( cannot remember the # of hand )
and either switchcraft or neutrik jacks
no strain relief and everything
but they still holding together

and best is you can always resolder them if needed

You can cosider the vox coily cables.
they are not bad and not too pricey as well.

You can get them at city music
